This role sits within Capital Team,with a focus on balance sheet and liquidity. As part of CIB Finance andBusiness Management, the role is responsible for reporting, management andexplains of the balance sheet and liquidity to the business and other F&BMstakeholders. The team has evolved in response to heightened sensitivityand requirement for a fortress balance sheet, robust financial performancemeasures (Tier 1 Capital ratio / Leverage ratio / Return on Equity) aswell as the efficient management of regulatory capital and liquidity.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Pointof contact for global liquidity items including weekly & monthly stressreporting, involvement in stress forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting
Furtherrefine liquidity analysis, managing to targets and help establish best inpractice standards for Global Clearing
Ownthe analysis and explains for Global Clearing GSIB, leverage and blendedcapital
Own short andlong-term forecasting for balance sheet and all items mandated from Corporate andensure they are understood by the business
Oversee timelyand fastidious commentary on balance sheet
Understand andremediate issues in input data used in liquidity and balance sheet
Ensure LOB is incompliance with all CIB and Corporate policies such as Product Controller Standardsand ensuring controls are documented and transparent
Thinkstrategically to improve procedures; drive process enhancement projects;partner with CIB Finance to review, test and implement process changes
Explain, withsimple clarity, complex regulatory changes to business partners, includingconcise analysis of how regulatory changes apply specifically to the business
Own ad hocrequests for the business as needed
Strong quantitative/analytical skills andattention to detail
Excellentcommunication and presentation skills - written and verbal
Abilityto multi-task and execute on a variety of deliverables
Self-motivatedand results driven
Abilityto implement and maintain effective controls
