The Financial Planning and Retirement Engineering Team Centre of Expertise Analyst (Grade EU) will support the Risks, Controls & Contracts Centre of Expertise Lead in ensuring effective, compliant and efficient Risk & Controls and Contracts management processes across the Financial Planning and Retirement Value Stream.
Focussed on effective Supplier Contracts, Risk & Controls management, the Centre of Expertise Analyst will provide a first class service to the Financial Planning and Retirement Value Stream. Through collaboration across the Value Stream and wider business the Centre of Expertise team will drive the development, management and simplification of effective Risk, Controls & Contracts management processes. The Centre of Expertise team will also look to drive out efficiencies ensuring best value for money for the business.
The Risk, Controls & Contracts management Centre of Expertise Analyst will drive and support effective business delivery by providing risk owners guidance on identification of risks and driving risks to resolution or acceptance, in accordance with business risk appetite. The Analyst will work as a team member in the Centre of Expertise to facilitate and attend relevant Risk, Controls & Contracts management meetings for all programmes/labs across the Value Stream.

Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge of Risk Management frameworks would be helpful to support making the right decisions and doing the right things for customers and the business
Strong Stakeholder management skills, able to facilitate relevant risk / controls sessions with various attendees to support validation of Risk score and ensure details captured on relevant Risk management tools
Awareness of Operational and Delivery Risks management processes
Awareness of the Change Policies and Change Methodology to provide effective support to Stakeholders
Able to influence key stakeholders at a more senior level
Awareness of Contract management, experience with renewing contracts and supplier management
Understanding of the wider business , economic and market environment in which the firm operates
Support the Engineering Leads in the identification, raising, managing and reporting of Engineering Risks across the Value Stream with a qualitative lens
Work with Business Risk Partners to support the Financial Planning and Retirement labs and Programmes with the identification / management / mitigation and escalation processes around the delivery / and actions arising from the testing of operational Controls
Collaborate with the Engineering Leads / Product Owners and wider stakeholder group to drive the Contracts renewal / change process, ensuring that the quality assurance criteria has been addressed
Support Risks, Controls & Contracts Centre of Expertise lead to contribute and consolidate (where appropriate) cross lab / programme and value stream reporting for Risk Management & Controls and Contracts MI presenting to appropriate stakeholders providing insight to support management decisions
Collate data and present at appropriate meetings and governance forums as required, maintaining effectiveness of the governance and reporting framework.
Support labs/programme to investigate, escalate, update and mitigate risks using appropriate processes, procedures and systems.
Work collaboratively towards a team plan which allows rapid mobilisation and maintains the cadence of delivery and which supports the ways of working
Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline the current Risk, Controls & Contracts management processes ensuring value for money whilst maintaining quality assurance
Drive sharing of best practice and ways of working and lessons learnt across the labs, Centre of Expertise and Financial Planning and Retirement value stream
