FMO Islamic team handles processing of murabaha transactions for MM & Derivatives follow up for murabaha documents and in addition, the team contacts the in countries' clients directly on transactional matters and stakeholders.
The Role Responsibilities
Assist with the FMO Islamic activities on murabaha and settlements are completed within the stipulated time frame
To manage, supervise and support Islamic Operations to meet required deadlines and quality standards to help business deliver their goals and targets whilst also satisfying customer requirements and expectations
Ensure timely, accurate and secure transaction processing in a controlled environment at minimum levels of cost and risk
Manage day to day issues / queries and resolve in a timely manner whilst providing feasible solutions Ensure proper functioning of day to day controls, periodic monitoring activities, and timely resolution of operational risk issues
Managing risk and controls by cultivating stong risk and controls culture and embed them in BAU activities
Ensure desk instructions and manuals are upgraded regularly
Establish strong communication with the relevant stakeholders locally and globally to maintain good working relationships and quick resolution of any issues
Ensure Service Level Agreements are in place and are reviewed and updated to align with changing requirements
Ensure compliance with directives received from regulatory bodies
Ensure AML and Sanction policies are enforced withing area of responsibility
To drive and build strong teams via adequate training, engagement activities, team builing, performance development and empowerment
Participate in Group's driven initiatives, projects and cascade the aspiration to the team members
Our Ideal Candidate
Experience in FX/MM and Derivative processing
General experience of Financial Market Operations for at least 4 years
Good Leadership Qualities, Interpersonal Skills and ability to Network
Good Communication Skills
Good attention to details
Good Knowledge of Banking Operations and Financial Accounting of FM Products
Receptive towards changes
