The Derivative Solutions Group is looking for an Associate to join the team in London. They will be involved in originating and structuring fixed income derivative solutions for a European corporate clients.
· Working with Morgan Stanley's Investment Banking clients to deliver Derivative Solutions to manage risk around event transactions and ongoing business exposures · Pricing and executing a range of products spanning across Foreign Exchange, Interest Rates, Commodities, Credit and more · Responsible for the day to day running of transactions from start to finish, liaising with key internal stakeholders across IBD, GCM, FID, Credit and Legal throughout · Gathering and synthesising financial and operating information about companies, industries and governments in order to develop, structure and model solutions to address exposures · Drafting presentations and memoranda for a wider audience within the Firm and the financial services industry
· Experience working on a Front Office desk is required · Experience working with Derivative products is preferred · Modelling experience & exposure to pricing tools is required · A positive, motivated, can-do attitude and desire to work in a highly team oriented environment. · Strong oral and written communication skills. · You have strong analytical and numerical skills that put you at ease with financial data. · You are results-driven, perform well under pressure and against tight deadlines. · You articulate complex ideas simply and summarise them effectively. · You are committed to excellence in your work and maintain high professional and ethical standards.
