- Evaluation and execution of M&A and other investment opportunities, including: o Performing valuation and returns analyses, including trading comparable, discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout analyses o Oversight of transaction due diligence, including planning due diligence workstreams and management of transaction advisors o Preparation of investment memos for transaction approval from board o Negotiation of transaction documentation including sales and purchase agreements and other legal items o Deal structuring and other transaction related matters
- Development and execution of corporate and business unit level strategy, including: o Co-ordinating and executing post-acquisition integration plans with investee companies o Developing and overseeing value creation initiatives of existing portfolio companies including identifying financial and operational efficiencies and improvements, scope for development of operational capabilities and other investment areas
- Support other corporate development activity, including: o Analysis of industry trends, competitive threats, expansion opportunities and internal performance to support C-level decision making o Supporting management on other business development opportunities Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following:
- 2-4 years of experience with at least 1-2 years in a strategy/investment banking/corporate finance/private equity firm; - Excellent analytical skills and effective presentation skills; - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and react to changing priorities; - Strong analytical, problem solving skills and resourceful.
