The Procurement & Sourcing, Officer serves as a member of the Procurement Transformation Management & Governance / Business Relationship Management team. Areas of focus are managing the intake process for Procurement requests, facilitating updates to Business Unit requesters on the status of contract requests and general inquiries, and performing contact queue management activities. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a member of the Procurement Triage team responsible for managing the intake process for Procurement requests;
Create Procurement requests in SharePoint and work with business areas to obtain required pre-requisites (e.g. evidence of funding approval);
Assign priorities to engagement requests;
Verify the adequacy of supporting evidence;
Ensure contract requests are assigned in a timely manager to the applicable Procurement group for review;
Respond timely to Business Unit inquiries on the status of requests ad general inquiries;
Perform contract queue management functions to help achieve cycle time and customer satisfaction goals;
Participate on team projects to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4-6 years of work experience, preferable in the financial services industry;
Experience in Procurement and customer service disciplines;
Effective interpersonal and customer service skills;
Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines in a fast paced environment;
Effective written and verbal communication skills;
Proven analytical abilities and process skills.
