State Street IMS is responsible for outsource service provision through leading edge technology and services for its clients. SSC has demonstrated excellent success in recent times with major client wins covering in excess of 10 locations worldwide, including UK, Europe, South Africa and USA, for the outsource arrangements of Fund Accounting and Investment Operations. SSC are increasing its talent to support the planning, development and roll-out of the Enterprise project within the Investment Operations arena and require keen and experienced investment operations business professionals to play a key role in the delivery of a successful solution.
This is a Regulation & Client Onboarding Business Analyst role within the IMS UKMEA Information Services Group. The individual ensures that the functional groups are ready for all of our onboarding projects, focusing specifically on operational readiness, testing, operating model analysis and all other specific tasks that need to be completed ahead of a client conversion. The individual will also be responsible for the coordination of UK Oversight Governance activities ensuring that that all outsource arrangements meet the requirements of the GS UK Outsource Framework.
Role specifics Onboarding:
Project manage the client onboarding process from receipt, preparation, implementation and Hypercare, ensuring that the Information Services Group meet / exceed project deliverables.
Maintain Open Actions / Issues logs which aid in tracking issues and providing a document to reference within regular checkpoint meetings.
Work with the business teams to ensure that they are raising issues in the appropriate manner and assign owners to have these closed out within an acceptable timeframe.
Track key project milestones to help ensure that each business team is able to sign-off readiness ahead of a conversion.
Assist in gathering/preparing project information by attending and facilitating client and internal meetings.
Drive the review of Operating Models, Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
Adhoc project work for Information Services not specific to new client onboarding
Coordinate UK Oversight Governance activities ensuring that that all outsource arrangements meet the requirements of the GS UK Outsource Framework.
Ensure that the complete population of outsource arrangements are recorded in the GS UK Outsourcing Governance inventory.
Complete monthly updates to IMS/GS/Business Controls inventories and escalate overdue items to Senior Management when required.
Coordinate the timely completion of new Outsource Arrangement Documents (OAD), working with the Second Line of Defence responding to their feedback and challenge. Ensure approvals obtained from Outsourcing Assessment Owner, Outsourcing Portfolio Manager (or delegate), Risk & Compliance.
Track Service Provider Annual Outsourcing Due Diligence Questionnaires
Coordinate the timely completion of new Service Level Agreements ensuring that all agreements meet the SSBT RRP requirements and obtain both Service Provider and Service Recipient approval/sign-off
Track upcoming migrations and operating model changes triggering SLA and OAD updates
Maintain internal registers for both Outsource Arrangements and Service Level Agreements.
Coordinate annual attestation RRP arrangements on behalf of Information Services.
Act as delegate representation for Information Services at the SSBT London Control and Governance forums.
Instill a Control and Governance awareness across the Information Services team within the location.
Monitoring and Testing:
Planning and co-ordination of operational controls testing for IMS Information Services UK
Complete preparation and planning for controls testing within IMS Information Services, ensuring adequate notice of testing to functional area managers.
Conduct walkthrough meetings with each team for understanding of end to end processes; co-ordinate follow ups where needed.
Ensure process narrative and initial control observations documented and shared with each in scope team prior to testing date.
Capture operational controls subject to testing within the Controls and Testing Workbook.
Co-ordinate testing of operational controls, ensuring evidence sufficiently analysed and documented.
Complete final observations document for submission to management.
Advise on operational control issues to be logged via Archer Issues Management in line with the Issues Management Standard.

Degree or 10 years asset management operational experience
Project management experience / qualifications
PC skills, including office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Microsoft Visio skills are an advantage
