We are looking for a Financial Accounting Controller for our Budapest Office Finance Division.
The Financial Control Group (FCG) supports senior management, both for Morgan Stanley as a whole, but also the individual financial products around the world. FCG assists in managing Morgan Stanley's risk by implementing financial controls over the firm's business activities.
FCG is responsible for Morgan Stanley's financial records, ensuring that the assets and liabilities of Morgan Stanley are properly controlled, and providing accurate and timely financial information both to senior management and externally to statutory and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities - Coordinate with local controllers, support Business Partner teams to ensure correct book-keeping of Leasing expenses - Active cost pool review and controlling of supported divisions' costs during month-end close - Prepare Month on Month analysis and commentary delivering value added insights - Take ownership of technology asset lease and project cost related processes - Prepare Balance Sheet and Expense account reconciliations for internal (3Rs) and external audit purposes - Prepare ad-hoc reports for the management - Post recurring and ad-hoc journal entries into the General Ledger - Involvement in ad-hoc/global projects, optimization of current processes and standardization of processes across regions

Skills Required - Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline - Accounting or financial reporting related work experience - Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office - Proactive attitude, strong verbal and written communication skills in English
