Liaising directly with the local regulators – for all regulatory and compliance needs.
Setup and review initiatives and strategies to ensure efficient operations.
Delivery of high-quality operational services, internal and external stakeholders.
Budgeting – Target Vs Achievement, Setting targets for the RMs, reviewing the performances, motivate and train where required. Overseeing the expenses vs revenue; managing the services and operations of the division.
Review and ensure timely implementation and targets.
Ensure all services are in compliance with the agreed service quality standards.
Review and establish risk management procedures (AML/KYC/Onboarding/etc.) and controls and review regularly, applicable to all trust business activities regionally;
Demonstrated people leadership skills
Manage external and internal relationships with, local regulators, external auditors, internal auditors, departments heads and key clients.
Manage reputational risks, policy, and coordination with corporate communications and/or public policy division.
Foster, Maintain and manage interdepartmental relations.
Bachelors and/or Masters' degree in Law/ Accounting/ Commerce or equivalent with minimum 15 plus years of relevant experience in Trust Management along with leading a team and managing P&L.
Must be a full member of Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
Must have both front office (client facing) as well as back office (trust administration, Compliance, onboarding, structuring, etc.) experience, preferably within an MNC.
Should be able to influence and provide consulting.
Ability to foster teamwork and motivate the team.
