Job Description : Job Description Directly administers Personal Trust accounts including personal trusts, estates, investment management, custodial and guardianship accounts in conformance with our Company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and the terms of the underlying document. Serves as a part of the Relationship Management Team working closely with client advisor's, wealth strategists, portfolio managers and external advisors to define and meet clients' tax, financial, estate planning, and banking goals and objectives. Handles administrative duties including cash management, trouble shooting, and ensuring proper documentation of files and the Edge system. Responds to client inquiries and processes client requests in accordance with company standards and time-frames. Initiates annual communication with clients in accordance with company standards to identify opportunities for additional bank products and coordinates the delivery of services to meet client needs. Conducts annual Reg-9 reviews and coordinates tax matters for assigned accounts including 1099s, 1041s, and others as appropriate. Fiduciary professional administering approximately 350 Private Wealth Management Trust accounts with average book of business of $3.5MM in revenue and a market value of $450MM. May provide guidance to less experienced Advisors.
Satisfies regulatory requirements for holding the position, including meeting the qualification standards imposed by the Loan Originator Compensation rule of the Truth in Lending Act.
Qualifications Basic Requirements:
5 years experience in a relationship manager capacity in the Fiduciary Services, Private Wealth, or Institutional Investment Management industry.
Experience working with investment products.
Strong knowledge of estate planning, fiduciary and tax laws. Strong analytical skills including legal document interpretation.
Deposit/general banking knowledge to effectively coordinate the delivery of a wide variety of banking products.
Knowledgeable of banking and trust systems.
Basic/intermediate PC skills including standard Microsoft Office products and database applications.
S trong client service skills with the ability to retain and develop client relationships.
Demonstrated organization skills and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Able to communicate complex information clearly to clients and internal partners.
5+ years in Fiduciary Administration or as a Trust Administrator with our Company.
Undergraduate degree in fiduciary administration.
CTFA Certification or CFP.
Experience working with trust financial software.
