Role and Responsibilities
J.P. Morgan EMEA Wealth Management is seeking an Incident Client & Advisory (ICA) Specialist, to join the Onboarding team, based in Edinburgh. ICA deals with PEP, Negative News/Derogatory Information (DI) and specialized non core clients' escalations. The team coordinates preparation of Risk, AML and Client Review Committees as well as is in charge of the Committees follow-up actions. The role is to provide analysis and support to the bank in order to ensure adequate treatment of DI and PEPs and escalation as well as proper preparation of submission forms and good application of the regulatory requirements for client documentation and AML
This role involves frequent interactions with senior stakeholders (Compliance, Markets Managers and Risk Management) in support functions both locally and globally in a fast-paced team environment, as well as the opportunity to work on specific projects.
The role will include, but is not limited to:
-Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and local regulations -Keeping up to date with changes in regulatory legislation, policies and procedures -Offering advice on KYC Guidelines and Escalations -Collaboration with the Front Office and providing advice to bankers -Coordinating with Onboarding and other Stakeholder project streams and actions under the ownership of Onboarding -Support production and delivery of materials in responses to examinations by External and Internal Auditors -Compiling of data and producing frequent Management Information Reports (MIS)
