Duties: Perform Statistical analysis using SAS, SQL in Unix and Hadoop environment. Conduct sophisticated data retrieval and manipulation to conduct statistical modeling of data, and translate data into critical insights into customer needs and consumer behavioral drivers. Develop segmentation tools and predictive models using techniques including logistic regression, decision trees, machine learning models in SAS, R and Python. Use statistical and segmentation tools and machine learning solutions to improve marketing channel performance and marketing targeting optimization. Retrieve data and conduct large complex data analysis using analytical tools, software and techniques. Develop quantitative consumer response models and performance models to drive business strategies and provide insights on the impact of key business performance metrics. Establish key performance indicators for new product and various data sources which includes Bureau data, Co-Brand Partner data, digital environmental data and third party vendor data. Translate channel performance to business metrics and share the results with cross functional leadership team. Develop a rigorous testing program, design, track and analyze performance of various acquisition tests and programs to evaluate effectiveness. Provide data driven targeting solutions for credit card products. Partner with modeling team and prepare, implement and track targeting solutions. Compliance and control for data sources and Disparate Impact Analysis for targeting solutions. Articulate data driven insights to business partners and senior leaders, obtain organizational buy-in, and work across teams to drive implementation of recommendations.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering (any), Economics, Econometrics or related quantitative field and 3 years of experience involving Business Analytics for the financial services industry. 3 years of experience must include: Statistical analysis using SAS, SQL in Unix and Hadoop environment; Data retrieval and analysis; Developing segmentation tools and predictive models using techniques including logistic regression, decision trees, machine learning models in SAS, R and Python; Marketing targeting optimization; Data driven targeting solutions for credit card products; Experimental design for structured testing; Compliance and control for data sources and Disparate Impact Analysis for targeting solutions; Using analytical tools to summarize data and solve business problems.
