The candidate will be working in the CCEM STP team in Houston, with focus on the Commodities stack and FXCash when needed.
The role involves (but is not limited to): · Designing and implementing of Python based booking solutions to allow STP from exchanges to risk management system · Maintaining the existing applications and ensuring they're built robustly, resiliently. · Interacting with other Commodities tech teams, Production Management, Front Office and Middle Office teams to analyse, gather information and coordinate testing and production release.
Required Skills: · Strong technologist with experience developing in object oriented languages · 2 years Java or (preferably) Python development · Disciplined approach to code management, testing and deployment practices · Good interpersonal skills for effective working in a globally distributed team · Self-starter with proven ability to produce end results with minimal assistance · Attention to detail, adaptable and eager to learn
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent
Electronic trading markets and protocols knowledge (e.g. FIX) * Commodities or FX business knowledge
