Our Client, a global investment bank, is seeking a Regulatory Risk Reporting PM / BA for its downtown Manhattan location.
Partner with stakeholders across various cross functional groups on both mandatory and discretionary initiatives to ensure controls are sufficiently designed, documented and evidenced to satisfy business, compliance and regulatory objectives
Support all change management activities to ensure compliance with new regulatory, compliance or business requirements.
Scope of responsibilities include but not limited to : eliciting business requirements, business & functional analysis, identifying approach recommendation, defining solutions for business/regulatory/compliance needs, defining test cases to support testing, documenting and providing overall support to the initiatives from requirements to post implementation phases.
Strong analytical skills and probes multiple resources for answer
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Good data analysis skills with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word document.
Analyse and identify possible risks and issues that could impact delivery and either resolve them or escalate as appropriate
Provide support to the project manager to track remediation & prepare presentations to support senior management reporting
Schedule, coordinate & lead appropriate meetings to facilitate communication between project stakeholders & technology teams
Create knowledge artefacts & share/upload them in Confluence/SharePoint for team's reference
Acts as a coach and mentor to less experienced team members to perform effectively in their role.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Engineering (or relevant work experience in Finance IT). Experience /Exposure
8-10 years of hands on experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a related discipline with an emphasis on technical deliveries within finance
An understanding of different Financial Services domains and systems is essential.
Regulatory and cross-product experience is essential.
Strong technology background is a must with an understanding of Software Development LifeCycle, data & system flows and architectures.
Excellent track record of meeting deadlines, as well as tracking and driving execution
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential.
Has ability to work independently, multi-task & think strategically
Must be an excellent team player with willingness to go over and beyond day to day responsibilities.
