My client is a well-established, independent corporate advisory and funds management firm that acts as a trusted advisor to a high profile, quality client base. They boast a comprehensive offering across M&A, equity and debt financing, capital management and funds management working on very high profile transactions and with a high-profile ASX-listed client base. Due to the continued growth and success of their operations in Sydney, they are looking to hire an Analyst to join their team.
The Analyst will provide direct support to transactions across both the Funds Management and Corporate Advisory teams. The key responsibilities covered by the role include providing detailed financial analysis and financial modelling, industry & company research and drafting up presentation materials required by any of the mandates the broader team are working on.
Candidates will have gained 1-3 years' of corporate advisory experience either from investment banking, corporate advisory, project finance or from the relevant transaction teams of a top tier Chartered Accounting practice. Candidates at this level will have some good exposure to deals, possess solid financial modelling & valuations skills, be familiar with transaction and legal documentation and be proficient in compiling a pitch book. In addition, candidates should be eager to work in a deal driven environment as part of a small non hierarchal team structure and be enthusiastic to learn.
