The Risk Projects & Solutions (RPS)team is looking to hire an Associate to join the Robotics Center of Excellence (CoE)group. The candidate will be part of ateam that is instrumental in driving transformational change in the Risk &Compliance function across all business verticals by managing the implementationof short-to-intermediate term solutions using a variety of technologies: RPA,OCR, ICR, NLP, etc.
The successful candidate will be a deadline-oriented,entrepreneurial, thinker, and a team player able to effectively communicate andpartner with global business and technology stakeholders of all senioritylevels, while maintaining strong attention to detail. The candidate will be expected to understand thebusiness process, decompose the process and work with technology to design anddeliver solutions in a timely fashion.
Primary Responsibilities include:
Gaining a deep understanding of the "as-is" business process and principalpain points by interviewing Business Partners
Coordinate all principal tasks to be completed by Business andTechnology partners throughout the project lifecycle:
Coordinating and leading regular meetings with Process Owners(SMEs) to translate business needs into requirements that can be understood byapplication development teams.
Partnering with delivery partners (Solutions Execution orCorporate Technology) to design the "to-be" process solutions
Leading testing of the "to-be" process solution; seeking sign-offfrom Business Partners for completion of the critical project milestones
E scalating issues and roadblocks to managers and stakeholders asneeded
Managing changes and enhancements to live solutions
Working with CoE management to develop regular presentations/MISfor senior Risk & Compliance management review
3-5 years as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in Financial Services for a Risk application/function
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, technology/information services, or other related fields
Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and delivery-focused individual who is able to work independently in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to effectively articulate requirements and escalate issues/challenges
Strong critical thinking skills, with ability to understand complex processes with multiple touch points to understand how best to automate and/or re-engineer a process
Strong partnership skills; experience working with Technology partners to design and develop solutions that meet optimal quality and value
Curious, has a research mindset; enjoys bringing logic and structure to loosely defined, unstructured problems
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, Visio, Project and PowerPoint)
2-3 years SharePoint developer and/or SQL development experience is a plus
PMP, MSP, Six Sigma, Agile or other formal project management discipline; experience in Agile a plus
Technology development experience a plus
