Over time, aim to share responsibility forde-risking the firm via execution of primary transactions
Manage the distribution of information relatedto primary trades, both JPM-lead and away from us
Develop thorough understanding of investor baseacross asset classes and jurisdictions
Liaise with origination bankers to providemarket updates and pitch relevant opportunities
Liaise with sales force to organize roadshowmeetings and collect feedback thereafter
Assume responsibility for internal systems andspreadsheets such as BPS, roadshow feedback, daily secondary performance, dailynew issuance tracker
Management of any pre-sounding process which isdirected through Syndicate
Liaising with sales, DCM, and Roadshows team toorganize roadshows and handling any issues that may come up thereafter
Keen focus on ever-changing Control environment
Maintain appropriate templates for Syndicatebest practices and also assist in training relevant juniors across DCM
Maintain relationships with other areas of thefirm that assist the Syndicate business, such as Research, Sales, Trading, andDCM
Ad hoc projects, reports and analysis
Demonstrable Syndicate-related experience, including specific experience related to the primary / new issue process
Strong command of primary and pricing related systems, such as Primary One and BPS
Experience pitching and executing deals for global issuer-clients, including Europe and the US
Attention to detail and understanding of risk and regulations
Excellent time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Understanding of the need to be very detail orientated
Ability to cope well under pressure and be able to deal confidently with people of all levels in a number of different roles
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
