Role overview The London and NorthernHome Counties Business Development Client Adviser is responsible for working inpartnership with the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to grow JPMAMs market sharewith the biggest IFA firms in London and Northern Home Counties.
Key Objectives of role
Office based partner of the RSM, responsible for selling JPMAM's pooled funds to the biggest independent investment Financial Advisers in the region.
Ability to work to ambitious regional sales and revenue targets and to achieve key performance targets
Responsible for effective territory management in the region to identify potential clients and build pipeline business for the RSM.
To liaise with these clients primarily by telephone and email, with the opportunity for some face to face work at quarterly Investment IFA events.
Responsibility for IFA events such as Guide To The Markets in region, increasing the attendance of such events, both in number and quality of attendees.
Responsible for diary client meeting management and follow up activity for the RSM's face to face meetings
Adhere to standardized sales management best practices including effective sales territory and diary management, and working to activity targets and minimum client servicing requirements
Adoption of disciplined sales management practices, including full utilization of sales management tools for effective tracking of client activity and pipeline
To respond to client queries working to the sunset deadline
Experience of telephone sales contact with clients
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Confident, self-reliant and good team player
Good knowledge of retail funds market and competitive environment
IMC or similar qualification, or a desire to achieve such a qualification
