Reporting into the Financial Crime Risk assessment Portfolio Lead, the position's primary responsibility is to support in the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and validation of methodologies for the key models that fall into the Financial Crime Risk Assessment Model Portfolio:
Financial Crime Customer Risk Assessment Model (FCC RAM)
Financial Crime Country Risk Model (FCC RM)
The role also supports the model documentation of the above mentioned models.
The role holder will also be expected to provide project management support to all aspects of the methodology design, validation and testing, ensuring that the milestones of the wider programme are adhered to.
The role holder will be responsible for:
Assist in the requirement gathering and documentation of model development stages for any of the models managed by the FC Risk Assessment Models team (EWRA, FCC-RAM, FCCRM)
Facilitating workshops, creating and give presentations to variety of stakeholders, being able to articulate complex issues, proposed solutions and changes, the impact of these changes, and business requirements
Ensure model timeframes and specific milestones are achieved on time and forward planning to keep momentum on the projects going
Provide business analysis support on model build, and in explaining the results of the model to business stakeholders
Provide data analytical support on the model builds, including writing model methodology specifications
Assist with the design and implementation of pre and post implementation testing of new models
Supporting the FC Risk Assessment Models Portfolio on adhoc pieces of analysis that may be required.
Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
2-5 years' experience in the financial services industry, ideally within a global bank
Understanding of Financial Crime
Strong background in business analysis, data analysis, Advanced Excellent Excel & VBA skills
QlikSense app development
Excellent eye for detail
Familiar with data modelling practices to understand challenges and contribute to problem solving
Good organisation and project management expertise
Being able to think laterally and pragmatically to identify potential collateral impacts of models, and problem solve
Experience with dealing with technology teams as well as business stakeholders
Good communicator with good inter-personal and influencing skills
Ability to develop practical, cost effective quantitative solutions to complex global issues
Ability to translate and document complex issues into easily understood requirements and communicate this clearly with technology teams
