Responsible for making a significant contribution to the quantitative equity research process. Investigates new factors for inclusion into stock valuation models, improves factor forecasting capabilities through the implementation of enhanced statistical techniques and extends research into sector-specific models and timing. Evaluates alternate third-party data sources, models, or software and examines advanced statistical techniques or modeling technology. Contributes to asset allocation processes and assists with the setting of research priorities. Presents research to internal and external clients as appropriate. Supervises more junior research staff. Is proficient with advanced quantitative techniques.
Qualifications An MBA or advanced degree from a top school in econometrics, statistics, computational finance, operations research, computer science, or related fields with a quantitative orientation is required, as well as a CFA. A minimum of eight years work experience with at least five years in investment management in a role that includes finance and quantitative analysis is also required.
