Design and monitor the appropriate risk management framework for different investment products and for different geographic locations. The risk management framework will ultimately drive the most optimal risk/reward objectives for each investment products.
Design the minimal risk acceptance criteria for purchasing consumer and commercial loans as the underlying asset for the firm's managed/advised fixed income funds
Design the risk assessment criteria for the supply chain finance business.
Lead the development, implementation and maintenance of credit rating models for the measurement and management of credit risk for different products
Develop and maintain user requirements, parameters and configurations of rating systems for different customer segments
Automate risk assessment process and ensure adequate check and balance
Active engagement with stakeholders to develop analytic solutions using outputs from such models in credit decision, business strategies, risk appetite setting and provisioning and capital assessment
Develop the appropriate risk governance including credit risk, liquidity risk, market risk and interest rate risk. Ensure adherence to all local regulations.
Strong academic background with relevant disciplines
Minimum 5 years' relevant experience, preferably gained from Bank/Asset Management
Good knowledge and competence across different investment asset classes, experience with credit risk requirements and internal risk grading is a preference;
Excellent statistical, problem solving and risk modelling skills
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills especially in explaining complex technical subjects in a simple/pragmatic way
Understanding of real estate markets will be an advantage
Ability to work under pressure and ambiguities
