The Role Responsibilities
Book-keep the accounts for trusts and companies established by clients
Produce trust and company financial statements as per individual case requirements based on leading regulatory and trust industry standards.
Liaise with external auditors and tax agents for clients' accounts where an audit and tax returns are regulatory requirements.
Assist in issuance of Standard Chartered Trust Company's fee invoices when the fees for clients' trusts and companies are due.
Assist in preparing any internal or external reporting where information required is relating to trust and company established by clients.
Keep up-to date with regulatory and GAAP changes in regard to Financial Statements
Work in co-operation with key stakeholders to test and provide feedback on modules within Microgen 5 for Financial Statements Preparation, Book-keeping and Invoicing processes.
Delivery and meeting of SCB Finance internal reporting and/or external regulatory reporting requirement
Participate in any ad-hoc projects when necessary
Our Ideal Candidate
Good communication skills.
Experience in liaising and handling different stakeholders, both internal and external. Independent worker and a team player.
ACCA, AAT, CPA, or recognised accountancy qualification etc.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance and client accounting roles, prior working experience in Trust companies or banks will be advantageous.
Member of Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners, if applicable.
