Program Centricity is the next step in fulfilling JPMorgan Chase's vision of creating a single integrated Workforce Management Platform and includes the implementation of cloud-based Human Capital Management System and consolidating other applications onto the targeted solution. The program's goal is to simplify, personalize, and digitize the employee experience from recruit to retire. To achieve this, the program is looking to transformation of the employee and manager experience, advance people analytics insights, and simplify both the people processes and associated technology infrastructure. The new workforce management platform will impact employees globally and the journey will be both challenging and rewarding.
The APAC Program Management Office Manager is responsible for creating and managing the regional program management office for Program Centricity for the APAC (including Global Service Centre) region. Additionally, to act as the project manager for assigned regional and/ or global program deliverables. As a member of the APAC Program Centricity team, the role will partner with the global program team, software vendors and implementation partner to successfully deliver the APAC transformation in sequenced releases. Specifically, the role will be responsible for working with the global Program Management Office to develop the program methodology, tools, governance structure and APAC program plan to deliver the program releases on time through the practical application of project management knowledge, technical capabilities, and interpersonal skills.
This position requires a strong, collaborative self-starter who can proactively engage with regional stakeholders and a global virtual team, without the need for heavy direction. Senior level interpersonal skills - the ability to influence others, analytical/problem solving skills and strong communication skills - are key qualities that will position the candidate for success in the role. Responsibilities will include chairing the regional working groups, managing related workstreams and monitoring project progress (risks & issues), preparing and presenting reports for management, analyzing key data, and assisting in the development and execution of a successful transformation plan. The work requires the individual to be highly adaptable to change, work within tight timelines, and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholder groups. The role will report to the APAC Program Executive regionally and to the Global Program Management Office Manager globally.
Working with the global Program Management Office, develop and execute the program management office methodology, governance, and plan for the global HCM implementation in the Asia Pacific.
Leverage best in class program management methodologies to provide consistent processes, tools, and templates to manage the program execution through all its phases and releases
Define success criteria/ metrics to measure the program's delivery through each phase of execution and release, then monitor the program against these, escalating as appropriated
Create and manage the regional program plan, that considers appropriate Project Task Estimation, Resource Scheduling, and Risk and Issue Management
Provide input to the global program plan to ensure regional requirements correctly reflected.
Design and develop program deliverables, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessment, program plan, cut-over plan, etc
Establish, define and coordinate planning and execution of work activities and interdependencies to achieve program/project goals. This will require the incumbent to be able to connect the dots on complex interdependencies, understand the impact and engage the right participants to drive the right outcome.
Identify resources required to support the program - both business and program - and work with respective stakeholders to ensure their timely availability.
Plan, schedule, coordinate and manage of releases across multiple workstreams for the APAC region
Create and maintain the deployment readiness scorecard; monitor and manage cross-functional teams to ensure critical activities are completed to plan.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders who have accountability for program execution, including, regional HR operations, HR business partners, control partners, and all other regional partners
Manage the regional program working groups and their deliverables; including preparing agenda, engaging presenters, and ensuring decisions are made and action points assigned and delivered on.
Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
Effective communication to ensure alignment on scope, expectations and required escalations
Manage program updates and communications as required.
Ensure completion of high quality, on-time deliverables, milestone management, status management and required project communication
Establish recurring continuous improvement approach into program delivery.
Deputize for regional program executives where required.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Engineering, or related major
10+ years of program management, system implementation, operations experience and/ or other relevant industry/consulting experience
Strong experience of working in a fast-paced environment driving large scale transformation initiatives including implementing programs in a phased approach and managing multiple stakeholders and deliverables
Experience managing the complex, change initiatives, preferably global system implementations
Demonstrated success working in a complex, service-intensive and deadline driven environment
Ability to work and influence a wide range of cross-functional teams and leaders within a matrixed organization Key Skills:
