The Global Counterparty Credit group is responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with credit policies established by the Bank for the management of derivative credit exposures. Through strategic, tactical and risk-oriented teams of professionals, Global Counterparty Credit delivers the highest quality service and expertise to its stakeholders.
The Trading Oversight and Compliance Analyst is responsible for primary oversight, monitoring and reporting for various trading desks. This position works closely with the trading desk and prepares Credit Management reporting to be distributed to senior management.
Responsible for reviewing daily requests for trading lines and obtaining required approvals via CAIRO or email.
Preparation of in-depth financial analyses for Borrowers across various industries and regions.
Review and investigation of trading excesses. Preparation of daily report excess and/or inventory reporting.
Review of daily ratings alerts and notification of Borrower Risk Rating upgrades/downgrades and preparation of CAIRO credit reviews to reflect rating changes.
Maintain internal Credit Management trading line logs.
Prepare monthly reports.
Responsible for maintaining required documentation for internal audit.
Preparation of other related materials as required.
You are required to demonstrate governance, control and risk management behaviors in alignment with TD policies and practices.
Bachelor's degree in a business related discipline, preferably finance, in high academic standing, and 1-2 years of experience as a financial analyst
Basic understanding of capital markets and treasury/derivative products as well as the inherent market and credit risks
Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills
Experience analyzing corporate and/or municipal financial statements
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong PC skills (credit processing, Moody's Financial Analyst, Microsoft Word, Excel)
