This role is an additional headcount due to business expansion and will likely to turn into permanent. The main responsibilities including reviewing and negotiating flow equity derivatives issues, all template document reviews and initiatives for the flow derivative business, all ancillary equity derivative documentation (e.g. India / China tax arrangements, market representations and documentation), participation in ISDA and industry forums for Equities initiatives, and any other miscellaneous requests from the Equities Business, with constant engagement with front office and support groups within the Bank.
In addition, you will provide sounded legal advisory to APAC Equity Derivatives business and business units (Sales & Trading) on equity derivatives transactions and documentation (including ISDA contracts, IPO swap transactions, licensing etc). You will also assist to Identify and resolve legal and regulatory issues affecting the Equity Derivatives business for the bank. You will assisted in the drafting of internal policies and guidelines.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
2- 5 years PQE with banking Private Practice, regulator body experience (NQ is welcome for consideration)
Experience in OTC derivative preferred
Experience in Capital market, IPO specialization are also welcome
Strong interpersonal skills and a team player with the ability to work independently
Ability to work in fast pace environment
Strong business acumen, eager to learn and take ownership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English is a must
