Department & Position Summary:
The role is part of the Equities/Prime Middle Office, and is responsible for managing a team of 10 covering cash equity for Asia clients. The team's mandate includes day to day support on clients' allocations, governance, new product offerings, end-to-end flow analysis, process re-engineering, system enhancements, etc.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
We are specifically seeking an experienced client servicing manager with IB experience. An ability to understand technical requirements and system flows would be required. This role is VP level, and requires someone with at least 6 - 8 years in the industry. Product and process knowledge (IB, Prime, Cash, Derivatives, PnL, etc.) is required. A proven track record of successfully building world class teams, owning the delivery of projects in the areas of process re-engineering, new products or new system implementation is required. This individual will have extensive contact with traders, marketers, operations, finance, technology, legal, compliance and tax, both locally and cross-regional on regular basis. The ability to handle high-level multiple tasking is essential, given multiple projects or several tasks of the same project may be occurring at the same time on top of day to day team management.
The role includes the following functions:
Representing the Prime Client Services team in the wider Equities MO management team
Liaising with the Front Office and Middle Office teams on day to day controls and issues
Performing team governance and ensuring all day to day clients queries / concerns are handled in appropriate and timely manner
Providing solutions to resolve obstacles
Practicing changes and driving efficiency
Coordinating among different departments and stakeholders
