Description Tradeweb is looking for a Sales Executive to join the Shanghai team. The right individual will have prior experience of working with financial institutions in China and a strong understanding of the sales process. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a flexible style suited to building relationships with a range of clients and the tenacity to pursue opportunities and close deals. Ideally, you will have gained a solid understanding of Fixed Income products. To be successful, you will also need to demonstrate an ability to work closely with various internal teams both locally but also in the London and the US offices. Importantly, you should be an effective communicator, able to leverage and share information to maximise growth and opportunity within the non-Japan Asia Pacific region.
Specifically, we are looking to engage a senior individual with the following skills and abilities:
Extensive experience within the global fixed income markets, with majority of time spent working in Hong Kong and/or China, during which time they will have established a thorough understanding of the region and local business practices to actively drive Tradeweb's business forward.
A thorough understanding of automated trading solutions, multi-dealer platforms and the how technology can enhance the relationship between a dealer and its customers to generate liquidity and improve trade efficiency.
Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of establishing new business relationships, leveraging business leads and generating revenue through identifying and executing real business opportunities. A proven leader with effective people management skills; able to motivate and lead others and to generate momentum and consensus to achieve individual and team goals
Native in Mandarin and fluent in English
Extensive experience within the global fixed income markets
