The CBCM Third Party Testing & Assessment Analyst is part of Citi's Global Continuity of Business Office, reporting into the CBCM Third Party Testing & Assessment Region Head. The Analyst will be supporting regional and cross sector based Third Party CBCM activities (testing, assessments, risk management, governance, oversight and controls) as a member of the CBCM Third Party Testing and Assessment Utility in the region.
Citi's Business Continuity Management (CBCM) organization within Global Operations & Technology Risk and Control (OTRC) is seeking an experienced Third Party CBCM Professional to serve as part of the CBCM Third Party Testing & Assessment Regional Team. The candidate will play a key role in conducting analysis of our Third Parties as it relates to Citi's Continuity of Business requirements in the Region.
Prepare, coordinate and (as needed) participate on internal / external Third Party testing efforts: including but not limited to, coordination of business resources, test schedules, execution, results tracking / follow-up
Monitor progress of standardized Third Party testing and risk assessments, quality reviews; track exceptions and gaps
Follow CBCM Third Party testing and assessment processes
Prepare and present testing and assessment results to regional and global CBCM management
Follow up with Third Party and/or Citi's Third Party relationship owners to ensure critical and high risks are appropriately and directly mitigated
Communicate Third Party testing or assessment issues to stakeholders, ensuring their understanding of associated risks and actions needed to remediate those risks, escalate as appropriate
Partner with Third Party Management (TPM), Third Party Utility (TPU) and Regional CBCM teams to support the Regional Supplier portfolio
Participate in the development/improvements of CBCM assessment methodology and tools
Provide support to Sector / Regional CBCM teams on Internal Audits and External Examinations
Ensure compliance with Citi enterprise policies and procedures, and to Citi's Code of Conduct.
Support regular and ad-hoc reporting activities as required.
Participate (as needed) in continuous development activities.
The position will form strong business relationships around the globe at Citi. The employee will have the opportunity to become familiar with business continuity processes and controls, learn Citi business responsibilities and the products and services offered by Citi. The position provides opportunities to interact with third party suppliers and will have exposure to all Citi businesses and sectors and to Citi CBCM senior management.
Knowledge and Experience:
Experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and/or Operational Risk is preferred
Familiarity with the emerging regulatory environment as it relates to Third Party risk management
High command of verbal and written English
Additional advanced language skill is an advantage
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage assigned tasks, expectations and maintain key relationships across global regions and multiple countries
Excellent follow-up skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in MS Office (extended knowledge of MS Excel is preferred)
Bachelor's degree in business related field , or 4+ of relevant work experience
Strong team-orientation, interpersonal skills and flexibility
Self-motivated, self-starter, energetic, resourceful and professional attitude is required
