We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Analyst.
Credit Control Services is a globally managed function within the Retail Banking and Wealth Management business responsible for managing Underwriting operations, Collections operations, Credit Bureau and Decision Systems. In Asia Pacific, the Credit Control Services operations support the Retail Banking and Wealth Management business in 15 markets.
The Business Analyst role sits under the Credit Control Services Operations Support capability and is a key member of the Change team. The role supports strategic and high value global and regional initiatives focused on enabling the Retail Banking and Wealth Management sustainable growth agenda, specifically, by driving Process efficiency gains, improving Turn Around Time and deploying automation solutions in Credit Card, Personal Loans and Mortgage Underwriting processes.
The Business Analyst role is a key enabler for these programs. This role supports the Program Managers by developing detailed, accurate and actionable information of the underlying processes, writing procedure and workflow documents, mapping application flow and volumes data to action items, designing solutions including Information Technology and Process solutions, developing requirement documents for Information Technology and Systems changes, and enabling implementation of solutions by managing timelines and resources.
As a Regional resource, the Process Analyst role works with key stakeholders of the project, often frontline staff and line managers executing the process. This role manages communication across multiple levels of the organisation and displays strong technical knowledge, communication skills and analytical capability along with an aptitude for learning quickly, respecting diverse opinions and being able to build strong long term partnerships with colleagues.
To enable the Retail Banking and Wealth Management sustainable growth agenda, there are significant, large time bound programs to be delivered effectively. This requires the job holder to work with multiple markets and time zones, work across multiple projects and manage fast changing priorities, often with short turn around. The job holder will support Hong Kong working hours.
Experience with business process mapping, creating implementation plans and documenting process improvements
High level of comfort with Microsoft suite of tools including Visio and SharePoint
Experience in analytical, planning and governance skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues
Basic understanding of Underwriting and Collections operations and organization is an advantage
Experience in leading presentations, business and project level discussions with senior managers
Ability to craft Business Requirement Documents and Business plans
Experience in navigating Information Technology and Systems programs
Experience in interacting with stakeholders across cultures, geographies and functions
Preferred Undergrad degree or equivalent experience in business, finance or technology
Excellent problem solving and analytical skill
