We are now seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to fill the position of Client Documentation Specialist of the Hong Kong Branch.
Outline of the Position: Provide assistance to the Head of Compliance and Central Files of Hong Kong in the day-to-day management functions of the department.
Review clients' account opening documentation and check the validity on relevant forms to ensure compliance with applicable local regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures of the bank
Perform creation/ deletion/ modification of client static records, and maintain such records are up-to-date and relevant
Advise relationship managers on offshore companies/ trust accounts documentation requirement
Manage client onboarding operations and check completeness and accuracy of clients' data entered in the bank's computer system
Liaise with relationship managers to resolve account documentation issues
Perform review and tagging of clients with Professional Investor and Private Banking Client Status in the bank's computer system
Handle special projects, such as U.S.FATCA implementation and AEOI project
Oversee the administrative and reporting tasks of the department
Develop, maintain, review and enhance the bank's process, policies and procedures as well as its internal controls to ensure the bank's client onboarding activities are in compliance with the latest regulatory and internal requirements
Monitor and report the performance of the onboarding team to management regularly
Manage and handle ad-hoc compliance projects
University degree with at least 5 years relevant experience, preferably in private bank
Familiar with client onboarding operations
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
Independent, self-motivated with ability to adapt and be flexible in a team environment
