The Role Responsibilities
CABM Portfolio Governance
Ensure that the CABM portfolio complies with the project governance policy and the portfolio management standards
Oversee programmes and projects within the portfolio, drive compliance with the project governance policy, programme and project management standards and the system delivery framework
Ensure portfolio data in Clarity is accurate, working with project managers to address data quality issues
Work with stakeholders to ensure that program budgets and financials are effectively managed within and across programs/ projects
Work with stakeholders to define benefits and deliver benefits on time, in budget
Oversee programme/ project closures and the handover to BAU; work with stakeholders to ensure effective change management alongside delivery of investment projects
Maintain the PMO library including submitted papers and meeting minutes of various Governance forums
Support the Portfolio Accountable Executive by reviewing, challenging and approving Programme business cases
Periodically release material, unspent funding planned for that quarter to the PRC
Manage risks, issues, interdependencies and coordination across programmes/ projects to ensure that information relating to programmes deliverables, risks and issues are effectively communicated between stakeholders and that key performance indicators are monitored and evaluated
Report Portfolio status to GPRC and MT
Re-plan and prioritise programmes/ projects as required to maximise benefits and delivery efficiency
Manage CABM Portfolio Review Committee meetings
Support the PRC and prepare quality materials (ToR, Progress reports, Minutes etc.)
Ensure that all submissions to committees (PED, Red packs, Closure Reports, Benefit Reports etc.) are of the right quality and are timely
Partnership and education
Provide support to stakeholders to drive simplifcation and improvements
Educate stakeholders on their roles and responsibilities in the CABM Investment Portfolio
Assess whether change initiatives should be governed by the CABM PRC and support transfer to other governance fora if appropriate
Our Ideal Candidate
MBA with more than 5 years of experience in project management
Organized, flexible and with a common-sense attitude
A 'can do' attitude and commitment to do what it takes to deliver
'Agile' mindset: the ability to learn quickly, listen, synthesise issues and articulate recommendations
Strong analytical skills
Financial management capabilities: budget tracking, planning, forecast and variance explanations
Diligent and detail-orientated
Eye for process and data quality improvements/ simplifications
Confident and professional person who comfortably navigates interactions at senior levels
Very good written & verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong people management and networking skills, good at building relationships
Experience working within the financial industry and/ or Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing is preferable
Knowledge of SCB processes, governance and project management standards is a plus.
Experience in vendor management e.g. Software developers, able to support commercials and work package negotiation, comfortable reviewing legal/contractual agreements
Along with a consulting type mindset and background, meeting Group standards and familiarity with the following is advantageous:

Finance/ business management
Project lifecycle management, related documents and toll gates (scope, requirements, status reporting, testing management, critical paths)
