Our client is a US HQ privately investment firm that serves some of the world's most influential families and organisations around the world. Due to growth, we are seeking a high calibre Financial Analyst within the Singapore office to join the team towards servicing the investment needs of their target clients.
Sitting within a lean team, you will;
Develop a deep understanding of portfolio construction, asset classes, investment products, macroeconomics, client customizations, and professional communication
Perform ad hoc analyses for clients' planning needs
Undertake analysis of direct investment opportunities sourced by clients
Develop and prepare marketing presentations for prospective clients that address equity, fixed income, and alternative investment components of asset allocation
Evaluate thematic investment opportunities and coordinate portfolio trading activities
Prepare client balance sheets and undertake asset allocation analysis
Monitor client investment performance and manage quarterly portfolio reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Gather, prepare, and coordinate client tax data and documentation
Work in conjunction with various internal and cross-functional groups with research, operations, and management to respond to client needs and enhance processes
Actively represent the firm in client interactions (direct & peripheral), including live meetings and phone calls
2-4 years of relevant investment experience, coming from investment banking, private banking, Private Equity or a top tier Management Consulting house or other investment advisory experience in working with high net worth families
Excellent academic background and strong cognitive ability
Passion for investment management and client service
Detail-oriented and thorough
Superior communication and analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative, ability to build financial models is important as there are numerous deal due diligences work)
Highly motivated, trustworthy, intellectually curious, and mature
