Citibank, N.A. seeks a Vice President for its New York, New York location. Duties: Perform financial analysis, including diligence, defining scope of analysis, modeling, and formulating recommendations. Serve as a Support Banker and Parent Account Manager for a portfolio of corporate clients in the Healthcare sector. Originate transactions spanning the full range of Citi's product platform, including debt and equity capital markets, global loans, share repurchases, cash management, trade, vendor finance, FX and interest rate derivatives. Perform credit analysis and structuring, cash flow and merger modeling, including evaluation of impact on credit ratings and creditworthiness under various corporate transformation scenarios, company valuation including Discounted Cash Flow analysis, Peer Analysis and benchmarking. Generate and oversee the creation of tailored advisory materials on topics including capital structure and allocation, corporate finance, risk management and digital disruption. Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Healthcare sector; serve as the industry expert on client workstreams advising on industry dynamics, developments and client priorities to create transaction execution materials and identify advisory and transactional opportunities. Meet with global and regional decision-makers at corporate clients. Build credibility and establish trust with clients by identifying client needs and providing tailored solutions. Use Excel, PowerPoint and market data systems, including FactSet, Bloomberg and Moody's Analytics and supervise complex financial analysis, corporate and financial market diligence, transactional and general credit modeling, and formulate recommendations. Define scope of analysis and ensure appropriateness of data and relevance of analysis based on evaluation of public filings, research reports, operations, business plans and financial forecasts. Support execution of large-scale financing transactions. Partner with Investment Banking and Capital Markets to execute episodic transactions. Participate in contract negotiations of Credit Agreements and ISDA Schedules. As Credit Officer, apply capital approval metrics and processes, lead analytical efforts and put forward recommendations to senior Risk and Business approvers on large-scale capital commitments. Evaluate credit worthiness of clients and structure solutions. Ensure that proposed client solutions meet or exceed internal risk and return standards, including stringent ethical standards.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, International Relations or related field and 4 years of experience as an Analyst, Associate or related position within Corporate & Investment Banking involving transactional experience with large-scale financings for the Healthcare sector. 4 years of experience must include: Dynamics within the four Healthcare subsectors: Biopharma, Medical Devices & Tools, Healthcare Services and Healthcare Facilities; Credit policy, processes, credit systems and tools; Credit analysis and structuring; Capital approval metrics and processes; Cash flow and merger modeling, including evaluation of impact on credit ratings and creditworthiness under various corporate transformation scenarios; Company valuation including Discounted Cash Flow analysis; Peer Analysis and benchmarking; Excel, PowerPoint and market data systems, including FactSet, Bloomberg and Moody's Analytics. 1 year of experience must include: Project management activities in a matrix management structure; Origination and execution of client mandates in multiple financial product areas including capital markets, risk management and transactional banking; Negotiation of contracts with large scale corporate counterparties.
