Assistant Lending Manager Risk and Compliance - Retail Credit Risk Management Hang Seng's Risk and Compliance ("RKM") strives to maintain a well-balanced risk profile for the Bank while enabling businesses to thrive. Retail Credit Risk supports businesses to achieve the optimal profits within the Bank's risk appetite by reviewing and monitoring the retail credit portfolio through policies, procedures, systems and predictive models, and managing problem loans effectively.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Assistant Lending Manager. Principal responsibilities
Assess, approve and review loan applications in accordance with the Bankâ€™s retail lending policies and collaborate with business units to facilitate and monitor the closing of mortgage deals
Develop and maintain a close relationship with counterparts
Keep abreast of the market changes to ensure the competitiveness of our products / services
Assist in the review of lending policies and guidelines as well as participate in product development, service enhancement and other ad hoc projects
University degree in a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications
Minimum 4 yearsâ€™ banking experience, with at least 1 year in lending and credit analysis
Knowledge of Hong Kong property market with understanding of HASE mortgage operations an advantage
Strong business sense with good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
(Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Lending Officer.)
