Reporting to the Director of UK Wholesale Business Development, you will support the team responsible for raising third party assets to meet new business targets. This role acts as the anchor of the team's activities in the London office, providing support for all elements of the sales process. This will involve providing both proactive and reactive sales support to external clients and prospects and to internal stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
Provide an office-based, inbound point of contact for the sales managers and their clients/prospects.
Provide marketing material and data as appropriate to all client/prospects.
Handle all queries including those related to trades, settlements and rebates.
Update and manage Salesforce.
Help events team with events planning.
Work with Client Reporting to ensure timely monthly and quarterly reporting on funds.
Skills & Experience
Possess a strong understanding of the UK Wholesale marketplace, as well as the needs and required solutions of relevant UK Wholesale investors, both current and future.
Likely to have at least three years' relevant experience at a leading asset manager, in order to demonstrate the required skills and knowledge.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
Have a service-orientated mindset with the enthusiasm, drive and ability to develop relationships.
A solid understanding of technical investment knowledge, to be able to most effectively interact with prospective clients.
Understanding of investors, their needs and market trends and how they would interact in the development of value-added products.
Strong team player, with the ability to use own initiative and to influence and persuade at a high level both internally and externally.
