We Offer AM First Line of Defense (FLDS) is a senior specialist team operating within the central executive COO function. The FLDS team is a First Line of Defense (FLOD) team sitting within the Front Office. The team is closely aligned with the businesses, providing central oversight for all Front Office (FO) Operational Risk and Control Framework activities, including design, implementation, on-going monitoring/reporting and testing/validation of FO Supervision and key FO Controls. This is a rapidly evolving area of our business, a dynamic changing environment, which will be both challenging and demanding.
A successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of activities, including:
Monitoring risk metrics
Documenting process maps
Perform independent analysis, review, and assessment on topical matters associated with control/process and escalate where appropriate
MI for Trading Supervisors and Business Heads which highlight the control metrics requiring immediate attention
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including email reviews.
Work closely with FLDS NY and Zurich and Operational Risk in developing the wider aspects of our Risk and Control Framework, including the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process.
Assist with the Governance Framework; associated metrics; and reporting tools to ensure adequate awareness and escalation of key risks throughout the governance chain to senior management;
Liaise and partner with the Shared Services Support Departments
Interact with local Internal Audit, ORM (Operational Risk Management) Legal, and Compliance teams.
Consult with IBCM and GM counterparts in each region

You Offer Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:
Educational background in asset management, finance, banking, IT, or risk
Experience in process mapping
Attention to detail
Analytical and confident personality with excellent relationship skills in order to interact with sales, trading, and senior management on business issues.
Excellent quantitative and analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load on a daily basis, adapting to changing workloads.
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong Microsoft skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Experience in Asset Management, Operational Risk, or Internal Audit will be an asset
