The role encompasses the following main components; ensuring client satisfaction, organic growth and driving the overall efficiency / profitability of client relationships.
The Client Executive group within PFSS is responsible for ensuring client satisfaction. The Client Executive should fully understand the strategies executed by their clients and the revenue opportunity for Citi, whilst looking to leverage the relationship to enhance the footprint of Citi with the client and materialize cross-sell opportunities.
Know Your Client - Structure, Strategies and Service needs.
Accountable for client profitability; ensure adherence with Service Level Agreements
Accountable for day-to-day service and client satisfaction
Perform regular client reviews to determine overall client satisfaction and coordinate the response to client concerns
Drive continuous enhancement of Citi products and services
Understanding the client wallet, driving organic growth and the identification and execution of cross sell opportunities.
Educated to degree standard preferable
Extensive prior experience of Futures and OTC Clearing essential
A good cross product knowledge covering, equities, fixed income, Custody, Fund Services, FX and Swaps. Should cover trading, market regulations; short selling rules (stock lending and repo), risks and corporate actions.
A strong understanding of the regulatory, risk and control environment impacting our business.
A good understanding of global markets, including Market Regulations, Investment Limitations and Operational/Settlement Procedures.
A good understanding of Hedge Fund Strategies to include; equity long/short, risk arbitrage, convertible arbitrage, event-driven, global macro, merger arbitrage and distressed.
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to handle external meetings and discussions with Clients.
Attention to detail and the commitment to deliver an excellent service to a demanding global client base.
Advanced analytical skills, as well as the ability to break down problems and proactively own the problem by recommending and/or implementing solutions.
The ability to multi task and constantly assess and change priorities in line with the demands of the business and Client base.Willingness and motivation to maintain a steep learning curve, keeping in tune with the business, client demands and global market developments.
