The EMEA Product Manager's objective is to be the EMEA lead for design and delivery of key enhancements to the EMEA Cross-Border Payments solutions, including delivery of EMEA payment capabilities into our global solutions, enabling new cross border payments instruments, enhancing EMEA payment capabilities for increased efficiency, scale and automation, while managing intersections with related Citi development programs.
The Product Manger will also drive our joint Transaction Services and FX agenda including product development, EMEA stakeholder engagement and commercial growth.
The Product Manager will also be responsible for leading product dialogue and development for a number of the largest Cross Border clients.
The Product Manager is responsible for leading successful execution of a number of EMEA Cross Border payment priorities . S/he will be responsible to manage and coordinate the set of activities for EMEA that relate to the a global development roadmap.
Key areas of responsibilities include:
- EMEA Roadmap definition/ownership/tracking - Deliver requirements/BRDs for EMEA related changes and work with global and EMEA colleagues to drive prioritization/progress. - Identification of dependencies, timelines and management of intersections with Payments Transformation and other EMEA programs working with relevant teams. - Identify/recommend/prioritize EMEA capabilities and market solutions relevant for Cross Border - Key contributor to the wider Product design and innovation agenda - Managing structured engagement with EMEA stakeholders
Drive TTS-FXLM partnership agenda - Drive agreed agenda for 2019 in collaboration with partners from FXLM, Sales, Product and Clusters.
High value client engagement - Lead joint product development dialogue with a number of key, complex Cross Border clients.
Leadership role in a commercial environment working with innovation opportunities. Stakeholder exposure across region, global teams and functions. Visible initiatives that impact the core of the product capabilities and are very relevant to traditional and emerging clients. SVP/VP level in Cash Management or FX in a commercial business and/or operational environment.
Knowledge and experience of commercial business disciplines and operating models underpinning transaction services products.
Understanding of the intersections of product, technology, operations, AML and other stakeholders
Knowledge of Product Management disciplines, including the ability to undertake and lead a number of projects to drive commercial and financially responsible returns.
Knowledge of the emerging payments landscape both domestic and cross-border.
Strong track record of results delivery and execution including knowledge of multiple stakeholders
The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated, will display strong interpersonal skills and should be able to demonstrate the ability and the desire to problem solve effectively with creativity and within constraints. Ability to build new work relationship networks.
Ability to manage client interactions and dialogue related to product development.
Proficient with MS Office Suite in particular proficiency with Excel, Powerpoint. Proficient in the usage and preparation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
Ability to influence and coordinate multiple internal stakeholders
Commercial mindset/ability to drive informed client and pricing decisions
