The Global Account Manager will be responsible for aligning Charles River solutions with the strategy and requirements of a major Investment Management client with offices in APAC, EMEA and the US. The candidate will need to establish strong, long-term relationships with C Levels and key Business users to oversee and continuously optimize the delivery of existing products and services, while partnering with the clients to implement new solutions as their needs and our capabilities evolve. General Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of Financial / Software Services industry background with financial market information systems preferred.
Bachelors Degree from a leading university or college in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Computer Science or the like.
Front Office and instrument type knowledge across equities, fixed income, derivatives and FX.
Demonstrated ability to client face at a high level using a hands-on approach.
Have an established successful Client Management track record.
Demonstrated ability to meet self-imposed deadlines with proactive account management skills, and a track record of balancing the demands of a major client account.
Fostered relationships with Head Traders, Portfolio Managers, C-level Management globally.
Negotiated resolutions to difficult relationship issues to the advantage of both customers and employers.
Understanding of multi-tier technical architectures and relational database structures. Familiarity with SQL, FIX, Crystal Reports, messaging and web services a plus.
Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Able to differentiate and work at strategic and tactical levels simultaneously.
Able to travel globally on a regular basis from a base in Melbourne, Australia.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Client Management, Asia Pacific, this role will enhance CRD's long-term relationship with a major tier 1 client. The role is based in our Melbourne office and will involve taking responsibility for the ongoing relationship with key global stakeholders and business users.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Own the CRD client relationship globally along with the Executive sponsor. Manage Client satisfaction with all services delivered by Charles River through an effective global governance structure that accurately measures the client's health and sentiment towards Charles River across all functions and services. Globally coordinate across the client executives and global product heads to define solutions for the client's global business and ensure the client views us as a trusted partner and advisor. Create an effective, collaborative and cohesive team culture among service teams across the globe. Lead Quarterly Management meetings and status reports. Lead Monthly Global Service Delivery meetings/calls at appropriate timing for global offices. Escalate issues and follow through to resolution across global support teams. Co-ordinate all CRD resources at client site - Professional Services, Technical Support, SaaS Operations, CRD Data Services, Compliance Services, Technical Implementation etc. Visit client's primary regions quarterly to understand the Key business workflows and strengthen relationships. Coordinate/lead annual planning sessions to prepare business systems plans that outline the roadmap for the client. Act as client consultant to deliver best practices, industry trends, thought leadership to improve the partnership and advance the client's strategy. Drive client usage through product enhancements.
