The position Avaloq UK is now recruiting for an experienced, highly-focused Senior Key Account Manager to join the team and contribute to our continued growth globally.
The successful candidate will manage large and complex clients within the UK and EMEA banking industries, focusing on the private banking and wealth management sectors. As a Senior Key Account Manager, you will possess the gravitas to engage knowledgeably at CxO level and will support other KAM's and the wider team to execute an ambitious global sales strategy.
Crucially, you will put the client and their needs at the very centre of their focus - identifying opportunities where Avaloq can help to solve their business problems. We are seeking a candidate who understands the challenges our clients face and can identify solutions among Avaloq's commercial offerings in a proactive, not reactive way - becoming a trusted partner to the client as a result.
This is a target-driven role, accountable for supporting the needs of clients under the KAM's ownership. Collaborating with and driving other internal Avaloq functions is important, as the Senior Key Account Manager will develop the client plan for their accounts and ensure this is delivered. Some of the main tasks in this role will require you to;
Build and maintain effective long-term global relationships with large & complex accounts, including strategic development of accounts, innovation projects and upselling activities
Build up in-depth knowledge of the customer's business, build up and maintain a network within the customer on various levels (IT, Business, team leader, management leads, upper Management)
Coordinate inside Avaloq the approach to customer topics/issues/requests and conduct user and customer satisfaction surveys
Ensure consistent communication to each of its customers as first point of contact and serve as the primary interface for all products and services
Ensure the contract management, invoicing control and billing (see SAP)
Ensure projects follow-up with the client
Increase actively the share of wallet by promoting Avaloq products and Services (offers preparation) and identifying opportunities, promoting and proposing new products or services to the existing clients
Plan strategic direction of the customer account (account plan)
What you will need
Extensive experience as a Client Account Manager within the banking industry, ideally within private banking and wealth management
A track record in preparing client plans, internal business cases and tailored solutions which meet the specific needs of individual clients
Target-driven, with a track record in supporting sales achievement and delivery
Degree educated in Economics, Business, Computer Science or related discipline, with strong banking and technical knowledge
Confidence and gravitas to influence at C-level
