About the Role The VP, Project Manager Retail Services is responsible for managing regulatory and/or remediation projects. Partners with business sponsors and stakeholders on approved projects to determine comprehensive project goals, requirements, project timelines, budget, and resource requirements needed to execute the project. Position requires the ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, highly regulated environment with multiple and changing demands. Person requires the ability to think strategically, continuously looking for opportunities and efficiencies to meet evolving business needs. Keys to success in this role include the ability to collaborate both with the partner and internal cross functional teams, being a self-starter focused on continuous improvement, ability to hold others accountable, strong attention to detail, intellectually curious and creative, a willingness to challenge the status quo, proactively seeking new ideas and opportunities, and the ability to manage multiple and diverse work streams simultaneously. Strong interpersonal skills required combined with the ability to motivate project team members. The position reports into the SVP, Business Operations for Citi Retail Services.
Responsible for management of Citi Retail Services projects. Focused on meeting project commitments, including communications with sponsors, stakeholders and external partners.
Leads the design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex projects for systems and/or processes that affect multiple departments and users.
Manage day-day details of project including project plan, schedules, resources, tasks, issues, risks. Track progress and monitor milestones and activities towards project completion.
Acts as a champion for business process changes and proposes solutions for business problems observed through project execution process.
Manage ambiguity in a constantly changing environment, maintaining flexibility with focus on identifying solutions.
Candidates will need to maintain an extreme focus on detail while managing multiple complex projects simultaneously, and be able to support high capacity workload to meet business needs.
Demonstrate ability to develop strong cross-functional relationships, working collaboratively across levels and teams.
Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision in a quick turn environment.
