We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Production Support Duty Manager .
Manage the diagnosis, analysis and resolution of major incidents
Represent Production Support during Major Incident Reviews
Liaise and communicate effectively with regional colleagues, other domains and business representatives during major incidents.
Effective communication and liaison with vendors
Escalation Management Follow the Sun.
Act as escalation for Windows, Unix and Linux production support
Provide escalation for follow the sun across the 3 major regions
Regional Communication Management
Major Incident Management
Crisis line attendance for Major Incidents
Coordination of resources
Coordination of Major Incident analysis and resolution
Represent Windows, Unix and Linux domain
All MIR actions for Windows, Unix, and Linux have an appropriate owner
Expert level of production support or incident management experience.
Clear and effective communicator, needs to be able to communicate with multiple levels of the organization.
Organized, process driven and documentation skills are critical.
Works well under pressure.
General knowledge of x86 hardware, HP, IBM and major Operating Systems including Windows and Unix.
Production Support or Crisis management experience will make for a smooth transition to the role.
