We are seeking a VP of Private Wealth Sales with experience in institutional sales and in selling equities for alternative asset classes to private wealth groups, family offices, and UHNWI’s. Within the next 18 months, the company plans to raise in excess of $300mm per year to purchase investment-grade artwork.
Leverage existing relationships to raise capital into a new asset class.
Develop new relationships and manage existing relationships.
Work with marketing to host investor conferences and provide exclusive art-related events for investors.
Requirements or Skill Sets:
Note: Due to regulatory requirements, this position requires the successful candidate to hold and maintain a Series 7 license from FINRA.
5-10 years of client-facing experience in a sales role at an asset manager.
Strong rolodex of CIOs and investment advisors at family offices and private wealth groups.
Proven track record of working with larger to their satisfaction.
5+ years working in the alternative asset space.
CAIA certification is a plus.
Interest in the art industry a plus.
Hard-driving achiever, with a balance between sales process and results-orientation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
New York or San Francisco.
Must be eligible to work in the US - no exceptions.
