We are looking for the experienced individual, who would like to continue professional career in asset servicing are in subject matter expert capacity. The person would act as an analyst performing technical improvements in VBA and Access tools and co-ordinating projects in the Section, being responsible for reducing manual touchpoints in the process. The position requires day to day contact with Operations in short deadline process, providing support to existing Excel and Access based tools and developing new solutions. The tools need to be compatible with the existing or planned applications in the bank. Pro-client approach, coding and problem solving skills plus good interpersonal skills are required.
The team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of client elections in Corporate Actions area. This service includes mainly event notification, logging of client instructions and maintenance of the received and created documentation
The team interfaces directly with the financial institutions and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients.
Job Purpose: Intermediate Analyst supporting VBA tools and databases in the team, which main tasks are:
Creation of Corporate Actions events in order to notify clients
Processing client instructions
Investigating and resolving exceptions and errors in order to process in a timely manner
Cooperation with other Citi departments in order to provide the highest quality of the client service
develops new tools and database; provides support and fixes to existing ones (Excel, VBA)
proposes new technical solutions to problems set by the Business;
verifies the business case for the initiatives proposed by the Asset Servicing teams;
cooperates with resources from operational teams (BAU) in order to achieve effective implementation of projects;
identifies, describes and analyzes business problems;
prepares tools to improve processes and support their maintenance;
ensure that all technical issues are addressed in order to reduce operational and efficiency risks;
periodically reports the Performance and Productivity Plan for the given area;
strives to improve processes, increase efficiency and reduce risks;
actively cooperates with partners in Poland and abroad in order to implement the project / process improvements;
provides proper documentation for projects and tools it builds.
Qualifications and Competencies
Experience in coordination of the IT projects
Implementation of process improvements
Very good VBA coding and MS Access knowledge is required, SQL would be beneficial
Business analysis (optimization and creation of business processes)
ability to persuade, build relationships, effective communication
Fluent English - both written and spoken
Data analytics and reporting experience would be advantageous
Knowledge about various financial instruments of the capital market would be advantageous
Strong analytical skills so as to understand and interpret trends and data to make improvements
A willingness to learn and manage in a constantly changing environment
Being able to propose new technological solutions
Good interpersonal skills
