We are looking for a candidate with strong data analysis experience and advanced technical skills to operate and develop analytics and database solutions underpinning our regulatory financial modelling.
Supporting the data analytics function for the Firm's Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) financial models
Contributing to the infrastructure maintenance process with DB administration and development tasks in DB2 environment
Taking part of data sourcing automation projects while collaborating with various departments with an open mindset to all new technologies required
Maintaining accurate documentation of assigned tasks
Following best practices and protocols to ensure business purpose, intended audience, etc. while preserving data integrity
Carrying out tasks related to the job in accordance with the instructions of the superior
2+ years of experience in SQL and VBA development
Proven experience with MI platforms (QlikView, Tableau or similar)
Prior experience in manipulation of large datasets and reconciliation to golden sources
Analytical mind-set and strong attention to detail
Ability to work with a global team with strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Take responsibility for assigned work tasks. Adhere to the assigned timeframe
Be able to effectively and actively ensure upward, downward peer communication of information and issues and risks
Be able to deal easily with multiple issues and tasks under pressure
Proactively acquire necessary business knowledge to complete assignments
Be able to select relevant information and tailor communication to target audience
1+ year in industry standard Python coding or 1+ year in Java or similar programming language is nice to have
Hands on DB2 / Sybase / Oracle DB experience is nice to have
Experience with Scala and/or big data technologies is an advantage
