This is a collaborative opportunity which will see you interacting closely with senior business, legal, compliance and risk stakeholders across the organisation.
Macquarie Corporate Asset Finance consists of an asset finance business which provides specialist finance and asset management solutions globally, and a principal finance business that provides flexible primary financing solutions and secondary market investing capability across the capital structure.
As a Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for the day to day provision of compliance and regulatory advice to the Corporate Asset Finance business. You will be part of a new transaction approval process, in which you will assess regulatory and compliance risks for transactions, and closely coordinate with key risk and business stakeholders to resolve regulatory issues. You will also develop and drive compliance training programs for the business and embed group compliance policies into business operations.
You will have a good understanding of structured finance products, preferably with knowledge of structured debt and equity transactions with experience working with industry peers or big consulting firms. You will be solution-focused with good commercial judgement and a genuine interest in building good relationships with stakeholders. You will be able to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities with a strong attention for detail.
