Specialist Developer, .NET Framework, C#, T-SQL, SQL Server
The Exchange Traded Funds Technology Team createsapplication-layer solutions to streamline and improve the workflow of businessprocesses. In this role, the individual will be responsible for workingas part of a team to develop new applications, and update/support existingapplications. Detailed responsibilities include: working within the softwaredevelopment life cycle to bring an application from concept/workflow toproduction; creating the logic, performing the coding, testing and debugging ofapplications; modifying existing applications/programs as a result of changesin system/user requirements; providing technical assistance in the use ofsystems software or utilities. The role also includes performing productionsupport activities of the core application on rotational basis.

Technical and Related Skills:
7+ years of experience using Microsoft's .NET Framework)
7+ years of experience using SQL Server (2012/2014/2016)
Experience in standard SDLC (software development life cycle).
Provides application software development services ortechnical support in more complex situations. Has thorough knowledge of theSoftware Development Life Cycle. Conducts reviews of the test Plan and testData. May allocate/ coordinate work within a team/project. Analyzes, definesand documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware andoperating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal andexternal checks, controls, and outputs using BNY Mellon's standard developmentmethodology. Coordinates coding, testing, implementation and documentation ofsolution. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved.Contributes to defining time tables and project plans. Analyzes and estimatesfeasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs.Conducts analysis of organizational needs and goals for the development andimplementation of application systems. Proposes innovative, creative technologysolutions. Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, 6-8 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus. ..
