Manage and assist in analyzing and advising on credit proposals and reviews generated within the set turnaround times. Maintain high quality in credit analysis and is able to express his / her own view.
Ensure that credit proposals are meeting the quality standards of the bank, are in line with credit policy and are structured in the best possible way to protect the banks interests while meeting the clients' needs.
Ensure risk analysis of client groups are performed on a global integrated manner.
Review the credit portfolio on a continuous basis to identify timely worsening credit profiles and difficult and complex (re)structuring of credit facilities and in order to assess the adequacy of their UCR ratings.
Monitor the daily excess and ensure only technical excess will be approved.
Ensure the approval conditions and clean-up are strictly followed by the Relationship Manager.
Check financial covenants and monitor the monthly overdue.
Make sure the credit risk management reporting is handled in due course and following the guidelines of the Bank.
All risks affecting the performance and goals of business activities should be recognized and continually assessed. Any risk issue / exposure is to be reported in a transparent and timely manner to the management (risk as well as the business) and addressed promptly with clear accountability and target horizon of adjustment. All deficiencies / risk issues have to be reported at once and escalated for approval.
Preparing reports for different stakeholders (business lines, MT, Finance and Head Office).
Coordinate and participate in ad hoc project as assigned.
Bachelor with some accounting background.
Good knowledge of Banking Operations in general. Specific and detailed knowledge of Bank's risk management and risk monitoring processes.
Analytical approach in writing / explaining the decisions.
Independent with good team-player skills.
Good communication skills to explain, defend, motivate and convince the decisions taken.
Demonstrates ability to question, probe investigate issues / credit proposals and to challenge relationship management.
Has the strength / courage to stand up for his / her own opinion and vision, to defend difficult decisions and to withstand commercial / internal pressure.
