Global Loans Capital Markets is a product group within Banking, Capital Markets & Advisory, with offices in New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. We originate, structure and syndicate loans, including corporate revolvers, term loans, bridge facilities, structured products, restructurings and acquisition financings, for investment grade and cross-over issuers. The North American business is hiring an Associate to join a team of seasoned bankers and transactors based in New York.
Roles and Responsibilities
Support senior transactors in the marketing, structuring, underwriting and syndicating of a broad range of loan products to high grade clients.
Prepare and coordinate the development of bank meeting and marketing materials for loan syndications.
Maintain and utilize a comps data base to support pricing and market functions for the product.
Work closely with the sales and syndicate functions to develop and execute successful loan syndicate distribution strategies for clients.
Coordinate the closing and post-closing documentation requirements of loan transactions.
Participate and support the credit approval process for syndicated loan transactions and provide market data and insights for internal constituents.
Provide guidance and oversight to analysts working in the group.
Candidates should have distinguished academic achievement, in addition to a high level of personal integrity, strong understanding of finance and accounting, interest in the debt markets, commitment to excellence, high level of energy and strong desire to learn.
