The Senior PM/Analyst will be a key role in our investment team, defining global ABS investment strategy, and taking responsibility for a number of investment funds and mandates. The person will be an active contributor to the investment process both in terms of investment analysis, active management and monitoring, in order to drive positive investment performance. The person will also have client contact and be expected to contribute to positive asset growth over time.
Managing different ABS products for funds and mandates in line with key metrics and guidelines
Broad universe coverage including ABS, RMBS, CMBS across the regions (Europe and US)
Express views/convictions of the team and contribute to global investment performance
Active portfolio management through investment recommendations and relative value
Realized performance (analysis of factors contributing to the perf, benchmarking)
Client reporting (respect of timing, quality of information, feedback loop with clients)
Credit underwriting and review
Identification of key risk factors and mitigants
Identification and update on risk parameters (regulation, changes in market environment)
Production of write-ups (including transaction review if necessary, summary by sector)
Participation in investment committees (agenda, minutes, coordination with trading and main portfolio manager)
Drive priorities for asset class reviews
Business development and marketing efforts
Participation in marketing efforts of the asset class
Production and rationalization of data
Improvement of existing tools
Check the quality of information
Participation to business needs definition to support existing and new activities
Close collaboration with IT developers to design and integrate new tools into other Front office tools
Knowledge & Skills: Strong knowledge in Excel Some knowledge in VBA and other programming languages would be a plus Competencies:
5+ years working in Structured Finance market. An experience in US ABS and CMBS would be a plus
Proven financial analytical skills, fluency in English & French
Excellent communication skills, capacity to embark people in innovative projects
Experience in presenting investment themes to colleagues / clients
Team player, multi-tasking and ability to work under pressure, very thorough mind and capacity for synthesizing
